Charlie Avoles
Founder & Master Plumber
Charlie Avoles is a Master Plumber and is the second generation Master Plumber in his family. He is highly respected by his peers and was chosen to lead NexStar, an association that provides training and certifications to plumbers for excellence. This certification is considered the “Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval” for the industry. Charlie is active in his church and enjoys golf and tennis. Over a 30-year business career, he has served on many community and civic boards. Owned and operated by Charlie Avoles, St Paul Pipeworks has a team of trusted plumbing professionals available to service your plumbing needs.

Phil Quinlan
Master Plumber
Phil was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. He is a certified Master Plumber and has been in the plumbing industry for sixteen years. Before becoming a plumber he was a roofer and he also worked as a pool service technician. His favorite plumbing jobs include doing remodels and adding new bathrooms to older homes. He loves the process of seeing a project from start to finish. He also enjoys the challenge of repairing older fixtures that were previously deemed irreparable. It gives him great satisfaction completing any project that improves peoples lives. In the warmer months, he enjoys fishing trips to his family cabin in Hayward, WI. In the winter, he loves to spend time ice skating and sledding with his family. He also likes to relax and watch the Minnesota Vikings.
Paul Jamrozek
Journeyman Plumber
Paul was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a certified Journeyman Plumber at St Paul Pipeworks. He has been in the plumbing industry for five and a half years. Before becoming a plumber we worked as a delivery driver and also was a cook in a restaurant. His favorite plumbing task to perform is remodeling kitchens and bathrooms. He enjoys watching Minnesota Vikings football games. In the summer his favorite pastime is playing disc golf and in the winter he loves to be out on the lake ice fishing.
Billy Potter
Journeyman Plumber
Billy was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is a Journeyman Plumber and has been working for St Paul Pipeworks for four years. Before starting his career as a plumber, he worked in manufacturing and was a warehouse manager.
Billy’s favorite thing about his work in plumbing is doing all the finishing work at the end of a job. He enjoys seeing the end result of the project after a remodel is complete. His favorite football team is the Minnesota Vikings and he loves auto racing in the summer and getting out on his snowmobile during the winter months.
Howard Steeno
Apprentice Plumber
Howie was born and raised in Hopkins, Minnesota. He is one of the Apprentice Plumbers at St Paul Pipeworks and has been working for the company for about six months. Prior to pursuing a career in the plumbing industry, he was working in the hospitality industry doing various jobs including catering, serving and cooking. So far, Howie’s favorite plumbing task is installing new toilets. His favorite hobby during the summer is playing disc golf and he enjoys snowboarding and watching the Minnesota Vikings during the winter.
Jason Emerson
Apprentice Plumber
Jason was born and raised in Hawley, Minnesota. He is an Apprentice Plumber for St Paul Pipeworks and has been working for the company for almost one year. Before getting into plumbing, he was working in the healthcare industry as a nursing assistant. One of Jason’s favorite new plumbing tasks is running new water lines as well as digging and installing new main waste lines. In the summer Jason enjoys working on various landscaping projects and he also loves relaxing in the air conditioning on extra hot days. In the winter, he spends time ice skating and playing board games.
Keith Leverton
Plumbing Service Manager
Keith is from Lindstrom, Minnesota. He is a Service Manager for St Paul Pipeworks and does a lot of the estimating work for the company. Before coming to work at St Paul Pipeworks, he spent twenty-three years serving in the military and he also was in freight hauling for twelve years. Keith especially enjoys estimating the more challenging plumbing projects for the plumbing shop. His favorite activities in the summer are riding his motorcycle and spending time boating on the lake. In the colder months, he greatly enjoys downhill skiing and watching the Minnesota Vikings on TV.

Tony Avoles
Sales & Marketing Manager
Tony was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He has been working as the Sales and Marketing Manager for St Paul Pipeworks for three years. Before working at the plumbing shop, he was in the hospitality industry for many years as well as working in corporate sales.
His favorite thing about working at St Paul Pipeworks is scheduling various plumbing projects and coordinating the work flow for all the plumbers’ calendars. Tony is a University of Wisconsin alumni and is a diehard Wisconsin Badgers fan. He loves to spend his time swimming in the summer and hibernating and staying warm during the winter.
Jim See
Bookkeeper
Jim was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa. Jim is the Bookkeeper for St Paul Pipeworks as well as doing various other tasks around the office. He has worked for St Paul Pipeworks for twelve years. Before working at the shop, he was a sales representative at a hardware store. Jim’s favorite thing about working at St Paul Pipeworks is crunching all of the numbers in all of his accounting duties. Jim enjoys watching Minnesota Vikings football games. He also likes to spend time outside walking in the summer and catching up on a good book during the winter.
Mary Liz West
Plumbing Customer Service
Mary Liz was born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is a Customer Service Representative for St Paul Pipeworks and has been working for the company for four years. Prior to coming to St Paul Pipeworks, Mary Liz was a dedicated hospital nurse for forty years. Mary Liz loves answering the phone and being the first friendly voice to greet our customers. Mary Liz has a tremendous love for all animals, especially cats. She spends a lot of her free time volunteering at an animal shelter taking care of all the rescued cats.
